Our heroic Mehmetçiks, who tried to fulfill their duties despite the severe winter conditions, put their signature under a great resistance. With these thoughts, I commemorate with mercy and gratitude all our heroes who sacrificed their lives to defend our country, especially our martyrs who lost their lives in the Sarıkamış Operation.”
