Bartın University
Department of Recreation

After Bartın University was established with the Law No. 5765 dated May 22, 2008, while the School of Physical Education and Sports was affiliated to the Rectorate of Zonguldak Karaelmas University, its name and connection were changed and affiliated to the Rectorate of Bartın University. After the School of Physical Education and Sports was established on 26.01.2010, the Recreation Department received its first students in the 2014-2015 academic year.

In the recreation department, 2 Associate Professors, 3 Dr. A total of 8 academic staff, including Faculty Members and 3 Lecturers, are employed. As of the 2020-2021 Spring semester, the department continues its education with a total of 475 students, 250 of which are in regular education and 225 in secondary education.
