As the Department of Recreation, we organized an orientation training for our new students who joined our family as of the 2024-2025 Fall Semester on Thursday, 03.10.2024 at 13.00. In the orientation training held with the participation of our department head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih YAŞARTÜRK and our lecturers, information about Bartın province as well as our university, faculty and department was conveyed to the students. After the orientation training presentation, an interactive environment was created by answering the questions of the students after our department lecturers introduced their academic backgrounds. Applications that will be needed during the education process such as student exchange programs, student clubs, course catalog and the use of UBYS were explained and information about regulations and application-principles were also given. In addition, RIMER, Zero Waste and Addiction issues were emphasized and students gained more knowledge on both academic and environmental issues.

The Recreation Department participated in the "Safe Blood Donation Project."
