The Recreation Department participated in the World Disability Day Awareness Activities on December 3rd.

Bartın University Faculty of Sports Sciences hosted a meaningful event on December 3-4 for World Disability Day. The event, coordinated by Asistant Prof. Zeynep Yıldırım and Research Assistant Aylin İlkay Uysal, welcomed 75 individuals with special needs from Umut Special Primary School. Faculty members and students from the Recreation Department participated in the event. Organized to raise awareness of this special day and promote the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in society, the event aimed to foster sensitivity among participants. The activities contributed to the socialization processes of individuals with special needs, while also providing Sports Sciences students with valuable professional experience in working with individuals with special needs.
