"University Youth Symposium in the Turkish Century" was held at Bartın University (BARÜ), under the leadership of our Ministry of Youth and Sports, by the Turkish University Sports Federation.

Students showed great interest in the symposium held at Bartın University (BARÜ) Kutlubey Campus Library Conference Hall. At the event organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation under the leadership of our Ministry of Youth and Sports, important names in their fields took part as speakers on different topics.

Making the opening speech of the symposium, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun said, “As a university, our main priority is our students. "We see every moment of this journey, which we continue with confidence in our young people who will build and revive the future of our country, as an opportunity to learn from each other and gain new perspectives."

Emphasizing that young people will build and revive the Turkey of tomorrow, Rector Uzun said, “In the future journey we embark on with our young people, we strive to expand our borders and move our horizons even further, both as individuals and as an institution. I believe that our young people, who increase our hope even more, will have a say in our future and add value to the development of our country. With these thoughts, our Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr., who followed us closely and expressed his good wishes. We would like to thank our President of YÖK, Prof. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, for his encouragements that increased our faith by expressing his trust in our youth. Dr. I would like to thank Mr. Erol Özvar and our YOK members. In addition, our President of the Turkish University Sports Federation, Prof., who is sensitive to the efforts we make in cooperation to reach young people. Dr. To Mr. Mehmet Günay, our Vice President Assoc. Prof. "I would like to thank Mr. Serdar Eler and all those who contributed," he said.

Vice President of Turkish University Sports Federation Assoc. Prof. Serdar Eler pointed out the importance of the event in raising awareness and said, "These activities that value our youth and prepare them for the future in the best way possible on the road to the Turkey of tomorrow are very important. In this regard, we would like to thank for his close attention "I would like to thank everyone who worked with our Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun," he said.

In the symposium that attracted intense interest, Prof. Dr. Kadirhan Sunguroğlu “Coping with Stress”, Assoc. Prof. Melek Volkan Yazıcı “Exercise”, Assoc. Prof. Özlem Baş “Self-Care, Self-Confidence, Socialization” and Dr. Lecturer Nihan Yaldız gave her speech on "Nutrition". At the event, BARÜ Bartın Faculty of Forestry student and Climate Ambassador Mehmet Şahin made a speech and expressed his wishes on "Respect for the Environment".

The symposium, where questions and answers were received, ended after a photo was taken to commemorate the day.
