In the Turkish Individual kickboxing national team selection championships held in Şırnak between July 1-7, Burak Ünal won the semi-final in the 81 kg full contact branch despite breaking his hand in the first round of the semi-final bout and made it to the final. Unal, who could not compete in the final due to two fractures in the thumb of his right hand, managed to finish second in the national team selection.
