Our Faculty Students Exhibited their TÜBİTAK 2209 Projects

Students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Bartın University (BARÜ), one of the higher education institutions in Turkey that produces the most projects within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2209, exhibited their works.

Students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Bartın University (BARÜ), one of the higher education institutions that produce the most student projects in Turkey, exhibited their projects supported under TÜBİTAK 2209-A. The exhibition, which was held in the foyer area of the faculty and attracted great attention, included 30 projects deemed worthy of support in the first and second semesters of 2022 within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2209-A.

BARÜ Faculty of Sports Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Bilal Demirhan stated that their goal is to popularize the project culture and stated that 43 project applications were made in the first call period of 2023.

“BARÜ students produced 535 TÜBİTAK projects in 4 years”

Participating in the project exhibition, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun visited the stands and received information from students and advisors about the work done.

Reminding that 'Project Preparation and Management' trainings are given at regular intervals to spread the project culture, Rector Uzun said, "In the past 4 years, our students have received support by producing 535 projects within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2209. Some of these projects won awards in various competitions, turned from idea to product, or were published in reputable magazines. "We contribute to the understanding of 'Fully independent, strong Turkey' with the work we continue with the aim of being a university that not only transfers knowledge but also produces it," he said.

Rector Uzun also noted that they want to develop high value-added products and services on the basis of science and technology and said, "Raising qualified human resources who will lead Turkey's national technology move and transformation in the information production process is among our priorities. We believe in our youth and know that they will build and revive our future. Our Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Prof., for his efforts in this process.
