Children's Games Festival Was Held.

Children's Games Festival was held at Bartın University, Faculty of Sports Sciences. The event, which started with the theme of KidsFest, was prepared with the active participation of the course students and under the direction of the course coordinator Faculty Member Lecturer Murat SARIKABAK in order to support disadvantaged groups, strengthen social communication and solidarity in cooperation with the Provincial Directorate of Social Services and some non-governmental organizations in Bartın province.Within the scope of tourism recreation course applications for children, the event included track games produced by recycling used products and inflatable playgrounds brought from another province. In order to turn the event area into a festival area, it was aimed to create a big festival environment by pushing all physical conditions. Drama, live music and clown shows prepared by the students of the Recreation Department for the event were also the center of attention. In addition, the successful athletes of the Wushu branch, who have Turkish, European and World championships, presented a unique show that they prepared with devotion. During the event, all guests were treated to a carefully prepared meal for 430 people, as well as cotton candy and popcorn. Course instructor Lecturer Murat SARIKABAK thanked all the students, especially the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Recreation Department, Tourism Recreation course, Assoc. Prof. Mehmet TUNÇKOL, Head of the Recreation Department, Lecturer Ömer AKYÜZ, the department, and the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Bartın University administration for their support in the execution of the event. Lecturer Murat SARIKABAK said that sports can play a key role in transforming difficult conditions into strong tomorrows by integrating with disadvantaged groups in order for Turkish society to reach the power it deserves, and that this has been proven once again with this event. At the end of the event, where all participants left happy, gifts prepared by the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences were presented to the invited students who came under the coordination of the Provincial Directorate of Social Services.
